Also known as high frequency or systematic trading, we partner with the most sophisticated investment, trading and consultancy groups worldwide, who put technological innovation at the forefront of their business. These computer-driven groups utilise collaborative scientific methodologies to exploit inefficiencies in the market. As a result, technology is not seen as a cost, rather a direct profit generating business unit at the heart of our clients’ culture. By using a research-orientated approach we identify and work with the top percentile of technologists, immaterial of programming languages used, or industries in which they operate. Our typical search projects involve solving the most complex problems around scalability, distribution, latency, availability and concurrency. We work with Hedge Funds, Popriatary Trading Firms and the HFT desks of large financial organisations in this area.
Our C Level team focus on placing the management level at medium and smaller sized firms such as hedge funds, brokerages, software houses and consultancies. These candidates are often sourced from within investment banks or rival firms and typically include COOs, CFOs, Heads of Investment (CIOs), Heads of Sales/ Marketing, Heads of IT (CTOs) amongst other management layer roles. We also work on C-Level roles outside of the Financial Sector, having recently conducted searches in the Retail and Public sectors, utilising the search skills of mapping the market, headhunting the best candidates and managing them through the process.
